Thank you very much. I'd offer prints but don't know the math that makes a print un-cropped. Read and downloaded the DA instructions to no avail. I'm totally math illiterate.
Wow! You'd really give me a free print just for helping? Well, let's see if you like my solution first...
Do you have Photoshop or some other sophisticated image editing software on your computer? If you do, I can make a walk-through video for you to follow that illustrates how to best modify the size of your image and then list it as a print.
Is it okay if the image is a tiny bit stretched horizontally? Or would you rather have it be cropped a bit on the top and bottom?
If I can follow your directions, sure, I pay for a print of "A Normal Day" for you. Just so the entire actual painting shows I don't mind how it's done.
There are several different ways to precisely resize an image in Photoshop, this is just my favorite. Let me know if you have any problems or questions.
Had only one problem, might be a big one, or maybe not. The picture had only a small amount of white space around it when dropping into the New Layer. Went ahead with the Free Transform etc. Was a little worry not flattening, submitting the image as a print with two layers. But submitted now at the size you showed in your tutorial.
Let's get this print to you. Better to write me a private note with the address to send it to. When you receive it let me know if it's right. If not we'll go from there, OK?
If the print is approved and all this works out, how grateful I am to you for it!
Incidentally, did you see my new note below the title? Gives two links to what inspired this painting.
Here's the information:
Size: 22.8M
Resolution: 240.005 pixels/inch
14.05 x 9.85 in.
3372 px W
2366 px H
Anything else you need to know?
This is not a first come, first served offer. You asked. The offer stands for you only.
