The artist can do anything. He's God.
The tree isn't on the curtain in real life. It's seen through the curtain. But what did I do? I made it seem like part of the other flora that is on the curtain. Moreover, I made it seem as if it's both outside and inside. Note the frame of the window how it's "distorted" through the curtain by the wind blowing the curtain.
