Got 3 outdoor cats we care for. Guess that's why we don't see these little guys around anymore.

Copperheads would be nice. In Indiana we get timber rattlers, but I've never seen one.

Always looking in the countryside for Hognose snakes but only find them dead on the road.

Love snakes.

Robert this is a beautifully executed piece of work. I love all the contrasts in it, the shadowing, the dry white wood against the textured darker wood, but the warm sun next to your signature just kills it. I really enjoyed looking at this painting of yours.

Upon first glance, your first impression is that this is a picture. Then, you see all the surreal colors in the mood, making it seem beautiful and alive. Only then do your eyes look down at the snake, looking poised to either strike or climb. Lovely picture.
