Portrait of Brian Faulkner by hank1 Portrait of Brian Faulkner by hank1
Pencil
7 x 8"
2013

Some four hours posing from life, and my photo references of my friend Brian Royce Faulkner (1946 - )

This is one of my favorites of his poems:

Two Together One

If thou be mine
And I be thine
As two together one we twine;
If you to me
And I to you
Do blow more kisses airy new;
If thee be thus
And this be me
For all our future history,
Then now be then
And then be now
As you and I our love avow,
For thou art mine
And I am thine
When two together one we twine!

Expressive, although fresh, descriptive. Perhaps someday I will attain but a portion of your skill.

Hello, Mr Tracy; How do you do?

Hello Joao. I'm well. And you?

I could say the same about your photographs as you say about my work.

Thank you very much.

Then, you would be too kind, Mr Tracy.

Good. I'm learning how to draw; I have joined Portugal's Fine Arts' Faculty, Drawing course.
