In early December 1891, Dr. James Naismith, a Canadian physician from McGill University and minister on the faculty of a college for YMCA invented the game of basketball.

Today it's gone way beyond his religious background. Still, it's a kind of religion to some. But who won out?

In my drawing I attempt to show that the game, though started by a religionist, has become a secular form of worship.
