Artist's Comments

This is a Marine D.I. with his daughter. Looks like she's inspecting HIM for any small details that are out of order.

the simple fact that this painting has only gotten 100 page views and its already been up for 10 days, goes to show that this isn't so much an art site as an anime/comic book fan site. As a simple drawings of screen shot reproductions of say Goku from dragon ball z can get several hundred page views while this. Not to mention that I don't offten see a traditional painting like this in the the popular or daily deviation area. Anyway, just wanted to say that I think your work is great, and mine is that crapity anime junk I'm talking about. I would like to learn to do stuff with real media (as in not just on the compy) and am working on it, but am far from being this good. I like the lighting and color in the painting and the way you have the charaters, I never have the patients to do backgrounds, but a picture doesn't seem complete without one, good job.

Thisis just out-right adorable and the precision to details is wonderful! To me it even seems like he making one of those faces to get a little kid to get them to smile!

This piece really makes me smile. The colors remind me a lot of Norman Rockwell's pieces. Fantastic job.

:wow:

Love your work!
